Saturday Appointments & Emergencies

Westside Veterinary Hospital is closed all day on Saturday. If an emergency arises between 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM on a Saturday, or if your pet simply needs to be seen during these times, we will gladly see you and your pet at Moffett Road Veterinary Clinic. We are located at 5016 Moffett Road, Mobile, AL 36618 and can be reached by phone at (251) 344-3921.

Nighttime & Sunday Emergencies

We refer all other after hour calls to the MedVet Mobile. If you have an after hours emergency, please contact them at (251) 706-0890. They are located at 2573 Government Blvd., Mobile, AL 36606 and their hours are:

• Weeknights:
  Monday - Thursday: 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekends:
  Friday after 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM Saturday
  Saturday after 12:00 PM - 7:00 AM Monday
• Holidays:
  24-hour on major holidays.

MedVet Mobile is staffed with a veterinarian and support staff 24-hours a day. They are fully equipped to handle your pet's after hours emergency needs, be they surgical or medical. The next business day your pet can be transferred to our office for continued care or can stay at MedVet if this is the better option for your pet. We are quite confident that your pet will receive terrific emergency veterinary care at MedVet Mobile.
